HowTo: Building a 595  (Stephen Walsh)

Step 1 : Basic Board layout


Not everyone can follow written documentation and have this come out the way the original auther expected. so with this series of photo's you can see what the steps are to making your very own olsen '595 controller board.

Start off with a blank 595 board. In this case it's from the 'Coop' Purchase.

Add the Capacitors.

Step 2 : IC Sockets


Add the IC socket's, the Resistor and the led! (got'a have a pretty led, so you know it's on)

Step 3 : Lot's of LEDS!


Start installing all of the 64 indication leds

Step 4 : Pack's and Packs


Solder on the Resister packs.

Step 5 : Jumping!


It's now time to install the Jumpers, for the power and Power connectors.
